As the capital of India, New Delhi is a Mecca for the business visitor. All national level ministries, departments and other centres of authority are located here. Also the city is home to embassies, consulates and trade commissions of countries across the world.

It stands to reason then that New Delhi is also the headquarters of a large number of transnational corporates - Coco Cola, Pepsi, Nestle, Nokia, Motorola, to name a few - as well as Indian companies - Dabur, Ranbaxy, DLF, Hero Honda, etc. Equally important, the city acts as a hub to the northern region of India and its markets and businesses.
