Festivals and events
The best season to visit Bhubaneshwar is October to March,
when the heat and the dust are at their lowest ebb. The city
is famous for its Adivasi Mela — held in January and
the Khandagiri Mela — held in February / March.
Shivaratri in February and Anla navami in November are celebrated with great fervour. Two other festivals, Ramnavami and Jhamuyatra, are celebrated in April.
