There are in all 109 companies registered with the Software Technology Park of India (STPI), Pune.

Moreover there are 18 IT parks slated to come up within an 8-20km radius around Pune. This is already attracting investments from real estate majors, retail giants and IT companies that are looking for global scale and quality infrastructure for their operations. With an increasing number of companies setting up operations in Pune, the city is fast emerging as a vibrant and pulsating information technology centre for all of India.
