Rahul PanditRahul has over 24 years of start-up and operating experience across luxury, upscale, mid-scale and budget lodging businesses. Rahul was earlier a founding team member, President and ED of Lemon Tree Hotels where he led its growth, from a start-up, to three distinct brands.
Nikhil currently handles Operations, Growth portfolio and the digital & consumer loyalty vision of Ginger Hotels . He has been instrumental in driving the Ginger assurance of Safety, Cleanliness, Bed, Bath, Breakfast, Broadband.
Nikhil's journey into hospitality began as a Hotel Operations Management Trainee at Taj Palace, New Delhi, post which he joined the Marriott pre-opening team in Mumbai and subsequently worked with Inter Continental Hotels before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey at Lemon Tree Hotels as the first Hotel Manager of that group. He played a strong role in developing diverse aspects of the business from Operations, Brand Development, Learning & Development to leading the Employees with Disability initiative, recognized by a National Award from the President of India.
Nikhil holds a Diploma in Hotel Management from the Institute Of Hotel Management, Pusa, New Delhi and a certification from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. He has served as Chair and Convener for Skills and Entrepreneurship, Confederation of Indian Industry, Delhi State Council and is on the Steering committee of Confederation of Indian Industry - Maharashtra State tourism council . He is a Delegate for Australia India Youth Dialogue
Tarun Sathya Lakhanpal
Tarun Sathya LakhanpalAs Chief Revenue Officer, Tarun's responsibility is Revenue Management, developing and executing the future distribution, to enable us transform Ginger into the dominant economy lodging brand of choice for customers and developers, with highly engaged employees, that delivers superior returns to shareholders. Tarun's journey into hospitality started with Best Western Hotels before moving as a Management Trainee to Jaypee Hotels. He later joined Nikko Hotels as their first Revenue Manager in India before moving on to lead the revenue management, social media and loyalty strategy for Lemon Tree Hotels. His last assignment was as Vice President, Revenue Management & Electronic Marketing at Royal Orchid Hotels, based in Bangalore. Tarun has studied Revenue Management & Dynamic Pricing and Quantitative Data Analytics and its Application in Business & Marketing at IIM Ahmedabad. He has certification in Advanced Hospitality Revenue Management - Pricing & Demand Strategies from Cornell University School of Hotel Management and certification from Lausanne Hospitality Consulting in Rooms Revenue Management - Product & Pricing. Tarun also has certification in Digital Marketing from Internet & Mobile Association of India (IAMAI). Tarun has represented the industry at various professional platforms and shared experiences at Eye For Travel, Travel Distribution Summit (Singapore, India), Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and International Conference on Travel Technology (ICTT).
Mahesh MakhijaMahesh is responsible for spearheading the Finance function for Ginger Hotels. Mahesh is a Chartered Accountant and an LLB from the University of Bombay, with 24 years of work experience. He joins us from the Taj Group, where he was last the Associate Vice President - Finance, handling the dual portfolios of Projects and Sales & Marketing. Mahesh has successfully handled the deployment of over Rs. 1,500 crores of CAPEX over the last 7 years in greenfield and renovation projects and also an annual spend of Rs. 100 crores for Corporate Sales and Marketing spanning the verticals of Global Distribution Systems, Digital Marketing and Loyalty programs. He has previously lead the Financial Controller portfolio of the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Maldives and the Taj Mahal Hotel, Delhi. Before joining the Taj group, Mahesh was the Regional Director - Audit (West) with the Oberoi group. Prior to this, he ran his own consulting practice as a Chartered Accountant for 10 years, supporting clients across varied industries.
Ajit DiasAjit heads Human Resources for Roots Corporation Limited (Ginger Hotels) and is responsible to align and drive the Human Resources and business objectives, to provide a competitive and sustainable HR framework for the organization. Ajit has been associated with the Taj Group of Hotels since 2003, in various capacities of the Human Resources function. Ajit is a Strategic Human Resources Leader with skills and experience across functions. Strong people connect and passionate about employee engagement and development. He possesses extensive training experience, engaging with business stakeholders to access capability gaps and structure talent development needs. He has designed and delivered young talent management solutions to build and harness the talent pipeline. He has expertise in launching a new brand, with innovative learning interventions and hands on experience in structuring pre-opening initiatives for hotels. Ajit graduated from IHM Kolkata and has completed his post-graduation in Human Resources from XLRI Jamshedpur. He has 19 years of work experience. He began his career with The Oberoi Group of Hotels, as a Management Trainee and through the course of his tenure, he rose progressively leading teams in Food & Beverage and Front Office Operations. He joined the Taj Group of Hotels in Corporate Learning & Development.
Shivdas TShivdas is responsible for implementation of all digital implementations at Ginger Hotels. He has successfully pioneered and implemented an integrated enterprise wide Information Systems Technology architecture and Business critical applications on CLOUD environment for Ginger Hotels. With over 3 Decades of experience in the Hospitality Information Systems & Technology arena he has successful implementation of IST Transformation initiative at TAJSATS Air catering. During his tenure with The Indian Hotels Company Limited, Shivdas has spearheaded the implementation of Central Reservation & Information systems, Property Management Systems, Loyalty Systems, Analytics, Data centre Management and Business Process Improvements. Academic qualifications include Bachelor's Degree in (Physics), Diploma in Systems Analysis & Programming and Executive Management program from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIMB).
