    NeuCoins can only be used on eligible transactions as defined by the individual brands and the NeuCoins with the closest expiry date will be used up first so that you can get the most out of your rewards

  • When will my NeuCoins expire?

    Your NeuCoins expire 365 days after your last transaction involving an eligible earn or use of NeuCoins (even if it’s just one NeuCoin earned or used).

    During special promotions, you might also earn additional NeuCoins. The expiry of these NeuCoins will be mentioned at the time of issuance.

  • Can I earn or use my NeuCoins in fractions?

    No, NeuCoins cannot be earned or used in fractions. They’re rounded off to the nearest integer just the way you rounded decimals in school. NeuCoins greater than or equal to 0.5 are rounded up while NeuCoins less than 0.5 are rounded down.
  • How do I check my NeuCoins balance on TataNeu?

    That’s easy. Just visit the TataNeu app or website and look for your NeuCoins balance on the TataNeu homepage
  • Do I need to have an existing membership of any particular brands to join NeuPass?

    No, that’s not required. Everyone is welcome to sign up for NeuPass.
  • Are there any charges to sign up for NeuPass?

    No, it’s rewarding all the way! There are no charges whatsoever for becoming a NeuPass member.
  • I am a non-resident Indian (NRI). Can I still join NeuPass?

    Yes, absolutely! NeuPass is open to everyone. Be sure to mention the privacy laws that apply to you, when you sign up.
  • I am not an Indian citizen. Can I still sign up for NeuPass?

    Yes, you can certainly join NeuPass. Do make sure to mention the privacy laws that apply to you when you sign up.
  • Is a phone number or email address necessary to sign up on TataNeu?

    Only your mobile number and the OTP sent to it are needed to sign up for TataNeu. Currently, there is no option to sign up using your email ID but it is needed to send monthly NeuCoins statements and other important communication.
  • How long does it take for NeuCoins to be deducted after I use my NeuCoins for a transaction?

    If the transaction is successful, then NeuCoins are deducted immediately from your account
  • My transaction failed, but NeuCoins got deducted from my account. What do I do?

    If the transaction has failed, then the corresponding NeuCoins will be refunded to your account within 24 hours.
  • Is there a way I can get back my expired NeuCoins?

    No, as of now, there is no way to reverse expired NeuCoins into your account.
  • Will I receive a statement about my NeuCoins?

    Yes, to ensure total clarity we will send you a monthly statement on your registered email address.
  • What happens to my NeuCoins if I cancel or return a product?

    If you cancel or return any order that you had paid for with NeuCoins, your NeuCoins will be refunded to you. Also, any NeuCoins you had earned on that order will be deducted from your balance.
  • Why was my badge not upgraded?

    Let us explain. Each brand has its own set of requirements to allow for a badge upgrade. In case you do not meet the brand’s requirements, your badge will not be upgraded.

    E.g. If you who achieve eligible spends of INR 1 lakh or 10 eligible room nights in a continuous 365 day period, your badge gets upgraded to the Silver badge

  • Why was my badge downgraded?

    Each brand has their own criteria for upgrade, downgrade, and even retaining the same badge. Your badge was downgraded because you couldn't meet the criteria required to retain your badge within 365 days of the previous badge revision or renewal.
  • Which spends at IHCL are not eligible for earning NeuCoins?

    "Ineligible spends" or "Ineligible rates" are defined as:

    • 1. Room rates where booking is made via any online booking channels including but not limited to Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, Hotels.com, Booking.com, Tripadvisor.com, MakemyTrip.com, Travelguru.com or any other similar travel websites or a third party
    • 2. Room rates that are booked, or booked and paid, via tour operators, wholesalers and travel agents on their contracted rates or any other travel-industry staff rates
    • 3. Room rates for group bookings, conferences, weddings, events or organised tours
    • 4. Room rates for airline staff and crew where rooms are pre-booked and paid for by the airline directly
    • 5. Employee rates or any complimentary rooms
    • 6. IHCL's Friends & Family Rate
  • Which spends at IHCL are eligible for earning NeuCoins?

    "“Eligible spends” or ""Eligible charges"" are spends made by you on eligible room rates, room charges, food and beverages (restaurants, bars, room service and mini-bars), telecommunication, laundry, spa, cake shop, business centre services and purchases at the Taj Khazana chain of stores.

    They don't include:

    • 1. Room charges that are included in the definition of ineligible rates
    • 2. Charges for banquets, parties, meetings, weddings, events and other similar functions
    • 3. Rooms booked as office space
    • 4. Charges for Business Centre facilities used by non-resident member guests
    • 5. Complimentary services
    • 6. Any charges which are settled using Taj Experiences Gift Cards or NeuCoins

    Yes, you can pay for your Qmin order, fully or partly, using your NeuCoins. However, NeuCoins can't be used if you've availed of a discount.

    **Platinum Experiences

    • 1. The Signature Platinum experiences are only applicable if you have achieved or renewed your Platinum badge status by 31st July, 2019. These experiences will not be issued for members who achieve or renew their Platinum badge status from 1st August, 2019 onwards.
    • 2. You can’t avail of Platinum Experiences for stays between 23rd December to 15th January
    • 3. You can’t avail of Platinum Experiences for dining on 24th December, 25th December, 31st December and/or 1st January
    • 4. All Platinum experiences are for two persons (unless specified otherwise), subject to availability and can only be booked through TataNeu.

    • 2. In order to retain your Silver badge, you require eligible spends of INR 1 lakh or 10 eligible room nights in every subsequent 12 month period since the upgrade
    • 3. In case the criterion is not achieved, your badge will be downgraded to the Copper badge
    • 4. The Silver badge is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of upgrade

    Gold badge eligibility criteria

    • 1. Members who achieve eligible spends of INR 4 lakhs or 40 eligible room nights in a continuous 365 day period get upgraded to the Gold badge
    • 2. In order to retain your Gold badge, you require eligible spends of INR 4 lakhs or 40 eligible room nights in every subsequent 12 month period since the upgrade
    • 3. The Gold badge is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of upgrade

    Platinum badge eligibility criteria

    • 1. Members who achieve eligible spends of INR 8 lakhs or 80 eligible room nights in a continuous 365 day period get upgraded to the Platinum badge
    • 2. In order to retain your Platinum badge, you require eligible spends of INR 8 lakhs or 80 eligible room nights in every subsequent 12 month period since the upgrade
    • 3. The Platinum badge is valid for a period of 1 year from the date of upgrade
