To ensure the safety of our guests against COVID-19, Ginger Hotels has implemented at all our hotels, Ginger 5G Assurance, a set of stringent comprehensive measures which will be followed from check-in to check-out for a safe hospitality experience. Our staff members at Ginger Hotels have been working tirelessly to ensure that when guests walk through the doors of our hotels, their entire stay experience is going to be safe and reliable. Hence guests can choose Ginger without worrying as we offer the best hotels for safety and hygiene. The ‘Ginger 5G Assurance' accomplishes this through measures covering the 5 promises of Go Contactless via Enhanced Technology, Global Social Distancing Norms, Guaranteed Safety & Sanitisation, Great F&B Hygiene and Genuine Ginger Care with a Trained and Experienced Team.
 

Go Contactless:
This assurance extensively covers the aspects related to providing a contactless experience to the guests including contactless payments options. Right from the moment the guests walk through our doors, our team will be ensuring that the guests are safe and protected. Thus, we have enabled digital confirmations before check-in to facilitate social distancing. All the team members follow all the hygiene and safety protocols right from the reception to your room and wear masks and gloves. 
                                                            

To minimise contact, guests are encouraged to opt for in-room dining using online ordering. Bills will be posted to the room directly. Thus, with the protocols specified and mandated at our hotels, we ensure that the contact is minimised right from check-in until check-out. 

Global Social Distancing Norms:
With respect to the current situation, all our Ginger hotels have been following the standard social distancing norms to protect both our guests and staff members against COVID-19. Hence, queue managers or ground tapes are used to enable guests to maintain social distancing without any hassle in the common areas. 
                                                      
The restaurants too have been restructured so that the guests who choose to dine-in can do so by maintaining a safe distance. We have been using trolleys to load the luggage so that there is minimal contact. The capacity of meeting rooms will also be reduced by a minimum of 50%. The Ginger global social distancing norms have measures for billing, dining and all other necessary steps to maintain safety right from the moment guests check-in till the moment they check-out.

Guaranteed Safety & Sanitization: 
The Ginger ‘Guaranteed Safety & Sanitization' follows the stringent measures for cleanliness and hygiene as per the standards set by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, WHO and other local health authorities. This assurance includes carrying out temperature checks of guests, staff and any other individuals who need to enter the hotel premises. For hotel safety audit, Ginger Hotels have tied up with an external agency Equinox and the SGS will audit our premises for safe hygiene and food handling processes. 

We have been using hospital-grade disinfectants and MOHFW approved disinfectants to carry out regular sanitization of the rooms, lobbies, washrooms and common spaces regularly and more frequently. Elevator steel surfaces are disinfected using a sodium hypochlorite solution. Proper care is given to disinfect the glass surfaces and all the amenities are cleaned and sanitized after every use. Every room will be rested for 72 hours before being allocated to the next guest. To sum it all, this assurance ensures that guests can place their trust on us for having a safe and hygienic stay as our team continues to carry rigorous cleaning procedures for everyone's safety. 

Great Food & Beverage Hygiene:
This assurance by Ginger wants its guests to stay assured about the safety of every meal they have at Ginger. We have been practising utmost care while preparing food and maintaining hygiene in the kitchen. Every surface that comes in contact with the food is meticulously sanitised after use. Our food handlers wear masks, gloves and other necessary protective clothing to ensure that the food is safe for consumption. So guests can enjoy delectable cuisines from the comfort of their room by placing orders through calls or even do takeaways or dine at the restaurants. 

Ginger Care:
During this pandemic, we at Ginger have safely served more than 12,000 guests and thus our well-trained staff has gained a first-hand experience to cater to this dynamic time. Our staff wears clean and washed COVID protective gear and uniform including masks, head covers and shoes for safety. Non-invasive thermal testing is conducted for all associates and anyone with cold, cough or temperature of more than 98.6°F or 37.3°C is provided with medical assistance. Those handling food follow the 5 steps of hand wash method and all the staff members maintain proper social distancing to ensure their safety and yours. Hence, the employees at Ginger are well-aware of the safety practices.
                                                      

Thus, as we follow these five promises to adapt to the ‘new normal', we want to let our guests know that right from the stay to the food, and all other necessary aspects, we are geared up and well-aware of the safety measures.
